What do you think about having your picture displayed on a board in Oblong? At a recent staff meeting we discussed the idea and we thought we’d ask volunteers what they thought about having their photo with their name and role displayed somewhere in the lower level of the building.

Why? Well, some have suggested that it may help the older staff members remember everyone’s name. This of course is just a scandalous slur. The reason we are considering it is that we now have over 30 volunteers who regularly work in the centre. This, coupled with the reduction in staff hours, means that staff and members sometimes don’t know who’s who and what they are doing.

Now of course if you are the shy and retiring type we wouldn’t want to force you to have a mug shot put on the wall. You could always create your own avatar instead of having a picture.
