Annual General Meeting

Oblong's Annual General Meeting is on Wednesday 9th July at 4pm in Oblong. It's a chance to hear about what everyone in Oblong has been up to over the last year. There will be presentations from some of our member projects, and from all of the different collectives and working groups in Oblong. There may possibly be an advance showing of the new Oblong video and there will certainly be some lovely food.

All the directors step down every year and are re-elected by the members, along with any new directors. Speaking of which, we need new directors to stand. The directors meet monthly to look at what Oblong has been doing and take the final legal responsibility for the organisations. We're looking for people with skills in finance and accounts, legal stuff, personnel management, IT, mental health, funding and marketing but also anyone with experience of Oblong, especially people who volunteer here. If you can spare at least one evening every month and are interested in joining, please get in touch. Training is available and no experience is necessary, other than your experience of Oblong.
